Areas we cover
We go out every day from Vélez-Málaga to cover 14 towns across Málaga province and the Costa Tropical.
Where we work
We go out every day from Vélez-Málaga to look after homes, communities, shops and offices in fourteen towns across Málaga province and the Costa Tropical. We know the particularities of each area: the type of building, the climate and the local rules that affect a job.
Each town has its own page, with the most common services in the area, the specific challenges we find there and frequently asked questions. Choose your town in the list or read the explanation by region below.
Areas by region
Axarquía and Costa Tropical
This is our home area. It combines historic centres with narrow streets and coastal developments from the decades of fastest tourist growth. Damp, salt air and hard water are common challenges.
- Vélez-Málaga: historic centre with old homes and a modern extension. Renovations, electrics, plumbing and painting in very old properties.
- Torre del Mar: apartment blocks by the seafront, with salt air and seasonal homes.
- Rincón de la Victoria: residential developments and coastal area, with damp on ground floors and exposed terraces.
- Nerja: white town centre and holiday homes, with streets that make access for materials and rubble difficult.
- Almuñécar: Costa Tropical, with a mild climate, many second homes and properties that stay closed for long periods.
Málaga city and metropolitan area
A dense urban environment, with owners' communities, buildings from different eras and shops and offices.
- Málaga city: renovations of flats, shops and offices in buildings of all eras, with community and licence management.
- Torremolinos: tourist buildings from the 1960s and 1970s, with services that often need updating.
- Benalmádena: coast and village, with seasonal flats and homes on slopes.
- Alhaurín de la Torre: detached homes, villas and developments, with pools, gardens and outdoor areas.
Western Costa del Sol
An area of second homes and international residents, where service in Spanish and English and remote management are common.
- Fuengirola: flats and communities, with a high turnover of holiday use.
- Mijas: village and coast, with different types of homes and hard-to-reach stretches.
- Marbella: developments, villas and old town, with high expectations for finishes.
- Estepona: old town and seafront, with home and shop renovations.
Inland
- Antequera: a more continental climate, with colder winters and dry summers. Stone houses and traditional construction, and more emphasis on insulation and heating.
Which services we provide in each area
All fifteen services are available in every town. The most requested vary with the type of property: on the coast, waterproofing, air conditioning and bathroom renovations stand out; in historic centres, bricklaying, painting and full renovations; and in commercial areas, shop renovations and office renovations. For emergencies, see electricians and plumbers.
Particularities of the territory
- Salt air and damp: near the sea they damage façades, frames, services and paint. Materials and treatments are chosen accordingly.
- Hard water: limescale affects taps, water heaters and appliances.
- Heat and the terral wind: heat peaks affect air conditioning and summer working hours.
- Heavy autumn rain: tests terraces, roofs and drains.
- Seasonal homes: timescales adapt to occupancy, and remote management is common.
- Old buildings and narrow streets: they affect access, the rubble skip and permits to occupy the public road.
How we organise travel and visits
The visit and quote are free and with no obligation throughout the coverage area. Before setting out we confirm the time with you and, for renovations, ask for photos and approximate measurements so we arrive prepared. On community jobs we coordinate with the administrator the working hours, lift use and protection of shared areas.
How to ask for a quote in your area
- Choose your town in the list and read its page to see the services and particularities of the area.
- Tell us what you need by phone or WhatsApp, with photos if you can: they help us prepare the visit.
- We arrange the visit, free and with no obligation, on the day and time slot that suits you best.
- You receive the fixed quote in writing, with the scope, materials, timescale and guarantee.
If your project involves several trades, for example a renovation with new services and painting, we coordinate everything with a single point of contact and a joint schedule.
